Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of www.zurihemo.com (the “site”), operated by ZuriHemo, a private limited company registered in the Republic of Kenya with its head office in Kakamega. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. This site is not medical advice

Everything on this site is published for general information about our service. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not create a clinician–patient relationship between you and ZuriHemo.

If you are worried about a child's health, speak to a qualified health professional. If a child is unwell, seek care immediately. Do not delay because of anything you read here.

2. Screening services are governed separately

Nothing on this site is an offer to provide screening. Our services are provided to health facilities, county health departments, and partners under a separate written agreement that sets out scope, clinical responsibilities, turnaround commitments, pricing, and data protection roles. Where these terms conflict with such an agreement, that agreement prevails.

3. Illustrative material

Product screens, dashboards, sample identifiers, names, and figures shown on this site are illustrative representations of how the platform works. They do not depict real patients, real results, or real operational data.

4. Accuracy

We work to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or omissions. Statistics about disease burden and health systems are drawn from published sources and our own analysis, and may be revised.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site unlawfully, or in a way that harms ZuriHemo or anybody else
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, our platform, or any connected system
• introduce malicious code, or scrape or overload the site by automated means
• submit false information, or another person's personal data without their permission

6. Intellectual property

The ZuriHemo name, logo, site content, and platform designs belong to ZuriHemo or its licensors. You may read, share, and quote reasonable extracts with attribution. You may not reproduce the site's branding or presentation to represent another organization, or use our materials commercially, without written permission.

7. Links to other sites

Where we link to third-party sites, we do so for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

8. Availability

We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the site without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, ZuriHemo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, or from reliance on information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

12. Changes

We may revise these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
